Tech Toys For Christmas

If high tech toys are on your Christmas list, there are some excellent deals out there. If you or someone you know just has to have the latest tech gadgets, get a pen and some paper and write down these gadgets for home holiday gift ideas.

The iPhone 3G S is at the top of many holiday gift lists this year, and with good reason. It offers a bag of tricks, and it does video too. But buying someone a new cell phone is not always an easy thing to do. So, you could also consider the iPod Touch with WiFi, so you can still use all those cool apps, check your email, get your Facebook, and play all your music and video, without a monthly fee.

Next up on the tech toys list, experts highly recommend the Amazon Kindle, or even the hot-off-the-presses Barnes and Noble Nook! These e-readers are a great way to read books, they hardly take up any space at all, and they have wireless access so you can buy a new book just about anywhere you are. Experts also love the new digital camera from Panasonic. You can drop it, you can dunk it under water, and it takes great pictures and high-def video too. Plus, it looks pretty good for a rugged camera.

Netbooks are huge this year. These are super portable, low-priced laptops, people are loving these. Experts like the one from HP, and a company called Asus makes some good ones, and you can find them from Dell, Acer, and Sony for anywhere from $200 to 500. Not bad for a cute little laptop. Something techy for everyone for the holidays. Tech gadgets from home make wonderful Christmas gifts.

Surround Sound Pictures

Technology just keeps on moving along. Doesn't it seem difficult at times to keep up with the fast pace? For example, there is now a miniature microwave for tiny food. You can read more about that here. But what about the computer and all its technological advances?

Since 1991, the internet has grown exponentially year after year. Today, virtually every home has at least one computer. The latest craze to make its way over the internet are Myspace and Facebook. Members can share photos and memories with friends and family in other states and even other countries. Want to enhance the experience? How about adding a little surround sound to enhance your photo sharing experience?

The company SRS Labs Inc has developed the answer with a Photogram software. SRS is famous for surround sound. They have been a leader in audio solutions for a long time, and now they are offering their Photogram widget for, get this...free.
It is really easy to use too. Just select your picture, then choose a frame color to compliment the photo. Next, select the SRS-enhanced sound clip, and post your finished widget. Make sure to save the program widget to your profile or your friend’s comment section. The Photogram is even compatible with GIF, PNG, and JPG formats.

Internet users on Myspace and Facebook can add a completely new experience for their friends that they send these pictures to. You may add surround sound music or leave a comment attached to the photo. When your friends click on your vacation picture, your voice can be heard saying something like, "Wish you were here; the water is warm, but the drinks are cool." Or instead of writing a note, you can send a photo and add a little something more like, "We arrived here on Sunday, went out for lunch at a restaurant, and danced all night." Instead of just reading your words, your friends will actually hear you speaking in your voice.

What about this? How about the real sound effects of a roaring waterfall attached to your picture? Take a snapshot of a speeding racecar and attach the sounds of the 600 HP engine. Or take a trip to the zoo and attach the sounds of the animals. A picture of a lion could have a distinct roaring sound in the background.

Send a picture of your daughter’s first ballet or theater performance and embed the sound of the crowd's applause and the cheers of the audience as she takes her bow.
This widget comes with a complete library of sounds available to embed with the first picture you send. The library includes sounds of nature, modern life, animal sounds, emotions, & also cartoon favorites.

This is definitely another gadget for your Christmas list. It won’t be long and every Myspace and Facebook user will have one of these cool widgets. You better get in line early in case this gizmo sells out early. For additional tech gadgets go to Tech Gadgets.
